IKEA: In this spot, the furniture, not actors, are the stars...

While on Instagram recently, I noticed a friend had posted a photo of the mattress pictured above. At first I disregarded the image, but then noticed words scrawled on the mattress itself:

"People fell in love on me."

It took me a full second to register the beauty and simplicity of the statement. This piece of old furniture had a story to tell. That got me thinking about the role furniture plays in all of our lives and I decided to develop a spec commercial around it.

IKEA felt like the perfect brand to represent the idea. It's going to be a beautiful spot, and I can't wait to share it with all of you.
